Network on migration issues
The first meeting of this network was held in May 2002 during the six colloquium of the international association of museums of history, the intention being to cover both voluntary and forced migration, including slavery, political refugees and migration for economic, social and cultural reasons.
A committee has been set up and the date and venue for the next meeting have been set for November 2003 in Rotterdam.

MIEN Moving Images Exhibition Network
The Moving Image Exhibition Network (MIEN) was created under the impulse of the international association of museums of history in Paris on June 14, 2002. This network is the first one of this kind; it could help develop exhibitions, conduct research and produce agreements between different museums such as art, history or technical museums (covering, for example, copyright or touring exhibitions). This network will welcome all those throughout the world (individuals and groups) finding interest in such matters.
The second MIEN conference was held in Prague on November 20 and 21, 2002. The next conference will be held in Girona in Museu del Cinema - Collecció Tomàs Mailol on 6 and 7 november 2003.
